Is there a map available of the Laser Midstream pipeline which was planned to run through Forest Lake and connect to the Millenium line in New York?  The stakes on and around our property have moved several times within the past month or so.  Last I heard, New York land owners refused to grant right-of-ways.  Does anyone know what's happening?  Construction was supposed to start in April.  Has construction started on anyone's property who granted a right-of-way?

I can't say I have heard of anything, but someone did submit a issue with Laser Midstream a while back. A copy is below. Like anything else, know your rights and consider an attorney. A copy of this letter is below. I can't speak to it's validity, but be aware...

I want everyone to be aware of a pipeline company called Laser Midstream Company, LLC out of Montrose, PA. They want to run a pipline right through the center of our property in Great Bend Township in Susquahanna County PA. We told them we were not interested in the pipleline and I would like to share there response with everyone. It seem they are in the practice of using threats to get the land owners to work with them. I don't know who these people think they are and what makes them think they can do what ever they want?

Thanks for the message. I wanted to respond when I received it the other day, but I am just now getting to it, so I do apologize. I understand that you are not interested, but the fact is that the company is proceeding towards putting in a pipeline that is going to effect your property. I know that this is not what you want to hear, but I urge you to contact me, so that you will be able to have some input on it's location in relation to your property. I will continue to try and contact you after the holidays, and I hope you'll meet and discuss this with me.
Thanks
Jim

i know Jim.

talk to him. he's real nice BUT remember he's working for the co.

I have the application for the pipeline from another website. I've tried to attach it. I guess it's a matter of public record and I don't believe I am violating any law by sending it along to you. Near the end there are several maps. They show the route the pipeline will take through Susquehanna County to the state line and then thru NY to the Millenium Pipeline.

the latest Buzz is that Laser Midstream (now under a new name since the end of July) has a gently deal working well in NY State with the Windsor Group. However in PA where they will have the very major portion of the gathering lines, trunk and laterals, they are still being denied ROW by landowners, so they keep adjusting the proposed line and tactics. While they say the will not try to become a Utility - with Eminent Domain as a club - this may be in the works since PA Law will permit that action if the 'Public Good' can be demonstrated per Statute.
There is another proposed Gathering Line in the works several miles further East to tie into Millennium, so it will be work watching and learning more. We must fight any move to have a 'MidStream Company' becomming a Utility - for our own protection.
