Hi,

I'm an ecologist with Penn State University and I'm looking to develop a long-term study of the relationships of natural gas drilling with the wetland and stream resources of Bradford, Tioga, and Susquehanna counties. I was wondering if there were any landowners who might be willing to participate in such a study. Your land can have an active well or simply be permitted but not yet drilled - or not yet even permitted. I would be collecting information on plants, soils, and water and (if I can find the funding) would be leaving only a water level monitoring device on your property.

At this stage I'm simply checking for interest - I have not yet secured any funding for this study. I'd be delighted to hear back from anyone. And...this is important...I won't be on anyone's property without their explicit permission.

Thanks.

Martin,

Thanks and sorry for the delay in responding. I've been away. Would it be possible for you to contact me directly so that I might find out a bit more information?

Thanks.

Andy

I would be willing to take part.  I have an area of wetlands on my property in Susquehanna County that are associated with Wyalusing Creek.
