I scrolled down the pennysaver ad just for the fun of it to see how many places there were well driller accomodations.  Some of them were pretty high priced. Someone told me that there is one in Galeton that has very reasonable rates and comfotable too. I guess everyone who has an extra room is looking to rent it out to to the drillers.

I've been surprised not to see local entrepreneurs setting up housing and other businesses to cater to gas workers.  For example, along RT 328 from Millerton to Jackson Summit, there is a public sewer system and plenty of open land.  The main site expense would be a big water well and lots of gravel.   Set up some good used trailers, RVs, temporary unitized housing ... whatever.  A must-have would be a laundromat.  Pluses would be an outdoor recreation area and a 24x7 restaurant that served the basics like breakfast and burgers.  .
