There are two gas walls being drilled in the middle of two cornfields. I'd guess about an acre of that corn at each site was  removed. Aside from  that, the rest of those cornfields were not disturbed. Access was from the corn row ends so as not to cause problems when harvesting I presume.

Another site is being prepared north of Knoxville maybe a mile up route 249 toward Austinburg. And I hear that the California road is now open to drillers again. It had been closed because of damage by the heavy drilling rigs and associated vehicles. Drilling company did patch many areas at the sides of the pavement.

Bill; do you know which O&G company it is?
Lynn! I believe it is East O&G in the cornfields.

Not exactly sure about the route 249 north of Knoxville site. This site was just being surveyed and a few days later started preparing the access road west toward Troups Creek. I presume a huge sluice pipe needs to be installed in the creek bed and that the accesss road will be continued up over the creek bank to a place higher up the hill.

Will keep you notified of the progress in days to come.
