To avoid possible confusion, the link I posted was to a discussion forum relating user experiences with the FuelMaker, etc. and questions by those considering one ... practical nuts and bolts stuff.  There is some discussion of the comparative costs of home refueling vs using public refueling stations. 

 

 

I didn't wait for that map to draw ... slow without broadband.  But according to the DOE map, there are 30 public refueling stations in NY.  The closest to TC are Binghamton, Syracuse, and Rochester.  There are only 5 in PA, operated by PECO near Philadelphia.
