Worsham on March 3, 2011 at 8:22am I don't think you should have any problem, especially since she has already deeded the property to you (as long as that deed is filed of record, if not, you need to do that). I think that all they ( the oil company paying the royalties) would need to transfer the royalties to you in that case would be a copy of her death certificate, which would show that her life estate interest in that land has terminated. Hope she continues to lives a long time though!! Have a good day!
