Just curious...
I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

Does anyone know if Southwestern acquired ALL of Shells assets, wells, and acreage in Tioga County...?
Or did Shell retain Certain wells or areas
National Fuel acquired everything. Shell is out of the NG production business in PA.
Permalink Reply by Bullfrex on August 29, 2020 at 5:36am The E&P subsidiary of NFG (National Fuel Gas) is Seneca Resources, which has been active in Tioga Co. with PA State Lands leased years ago.
SWN is a different entity altogether and not associated with NFG.
Swepi was a company owned by Shell. NFG acquired Swepi assets and it appears that NFG will continue operation as both Seneca and Swepi.
Darrell: read the previous posts going back a few month to get caught up.
Permalink Reply by Mr. Bluebird on September 10, 2020 at 3:38am I got a letter from Seneca Resources this week. They said they had incomplete records and included a W-9 for me to complete. It appears we won't be getting paid by SWEPI much longer. The letter says "we anticipate that Shell will process their last payments in September (for July production) and Seneca will process our first payment in late October (for August production).
The letter directs emailed questions to: landadmin@srcx.com
I am happy about that. Lets get the Shell outta here !!!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
