Saw today pipeline workers on hinds ridge clay twp. The license plates said Wisconsin. Does anybody know what this is about. It would be close to the nettle well that is permitted. Thanks

i live on gilmore road in washington township, have seen all kinds of blue flags all over the place, but still i have not heard a thing about wanting my minerals,am i too late ,or did i just miss out on the boom.i have asked this question several times and have gotten no reply, does anyone know if leases are still being bought?
Ethel,
Be patient.....when the time comes to drill the area....they will find you.
I live in Mill Twsp outside of Uhrichsville and Dennison. There is 12 inch pipe being run along the old rail tracks heading to Dutch Valley and Blizzard Ridge (Where someone supposedly bought a site for a cleaning plant) and head towards Rt 800. Heard it is supposed to go to Scio. Just though I would share.
Thanks for the update...
Kinder Morgan is suppose to be builing a Seperation plant on the Blizzard Ridge sight.....any activity there yet?
The pipeline makes sense.....to connect to the plant in Scio
This is good news for the county. I heard a while back a line was going to run from the wells out by baltic ragersville area down toward gnadenhutten for the permitted CNX Mollet well. This all making sense now. These gathering lines will probably all be run down toward where the plant is going to be built.
Yes.....it seems all Wet Gas needs to be separated first, so more of these plants will be popping up. pipelines and plants being constructed are the first step.....then the wells.
One of the Gulfport Quarterly reports spelled it out how thier drilling program/pad creation was on a schedule based on processing plants and gathering pipelines.
I haven't been back that way for a while...I will snoop in the next couple of days. They are mining like crazy tho in that area. Moving lots of dirt.
If this is a 12 inch pipe it is probably for gathering. The main trunk line would be way bigger than this to go to the plant in Scio. I wonder if maybe they are just upgrading old lines in the area for wet gas?
Blizzard Ridge section closed for the day as they run the huge blue-green pipe under it. We have 129 acres in Perry Township that nobody seems interested in?!?! Had offers 2 years ago and they were withdrawn when CHK had money woes and don't know why Lario pulled out of their local offers, then came back in and last year leased only neighbor's but not ours? They don't have enough acreage to drill. Old Ennervest leases practically surround us. And one of Gary Kimble's properties (Ennervest or CHK old lease?) is ready for drilling but sets there with no activity (close enough we got a water test letter). The Kimble clan dba "Red Hill Development" sent a tentative offer via our shared attorneys (Krugliak, etal ) for $3000 and 17% a couple weeks ago - but the lease was the worst we'd read - wanted all our water and dumping rights too! Even Krugliak, who represents us both said it was not a good lease...! Any ideas who might be interested in leasing our rights? Our leasing attorney just left Krugliak to go work for...Kimble Company...so we may be looking for new representation too. Thanks.
Contact the Ohio Valley Landowners Association Just Google it. These are the guys that helped us put our deal together (Stubenville area) along with the guys from the link (Washington PA). They can at least give you information, well I think they can. They got us a good deal and many pages of protection addendum's including a Pue / puke (?) clause that protects us from HBP crap. I don't know if this helps but all you can do is call.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
