Documents on file in the Tyler County Courthouse seem to indicate that Blue Shale has flipped their oil and gas leases in the county. Included in the flip were all those leases in what I refer to as the "Thomas well unit." Documents indicate that Blue Shale sold their leases to Virginia Oil and Gas (deed book 437 pg 108) who in turn sold the leases to Stone Energy (Deed book 437 pg 539). Can anyone confirm that the leases have been flipped? Or, can someone set me straight on this matter?
