just got a letter from Master Mineral Holdings Inc. Midland Texas they are offering to purchase, not lease your minerals, or oil gas interest and any current leases you may have. just wondered if anyone else had received a similar letter .

yes triad hunter has leased a a good bit in your area. and they no doubt will be drilling,  might see what they are willing to offer. 
Master Minerals has a business plan that leads them to purchase minerals as opposed to leasing. They are not a producer, they just buy up minerals in areas that they think will be hot in the near future. And for some it is a good deal. They give you money now, as opposed to waiting to see what happens in the area. Some have sold the majority of their minerals, but retained a percentage, say 20%, that way they get up-front money, but have the opportunity to share in the royalty if there ever is one.

Thanks for this information. I got a letter from Master Minerals too for 98 acres in Clinton District, Monongalia County.
