Permalink Reply by Bob Donaghy on September 6, 2013 at 10:41am My guess is that they are limited in their leases to 640 acres per unit, dividing the wells on one pad into two units would permit them to drill two 640 acres units from one pad. I am sure that is as clear as mud, but I don't know how else to explain it. The royalties from one unit (group of wells) will go to one group of mineral owners and the royalties from the other unit (group of wells) will go to another group of mineral owners.
Permalink Reply by leslie tennant on September 21, 2013 at 6:52pm just got a reg. letter from antero about walking the property lines with gps and i am lease to triad. called triad they might be talking a trade with antero. i am 1 mile 2/10ths up the hollow from rte. 18 triad said i might be put in a unit with antero. hope this helps someone.
