Where have you seen them at?
I saw them in Franklin but not sure exactly they where working
I saw sensors along 66 north of marienville and along 38 south of eau clare. Look for pink flags evenly spaced along the road. And bundles of wire with sensors attached. Glad to hear of some local testing.
We have them all over the place near Pleasantville/Titusville

A truck with Texas plates and the label "Geokinetics" was on 227 with all the seismic wires and flags and some wild looking vehicles yesterday. A line of the same seismic pink flags was stretched out all along the road that runs up the mountain from Tidioute toward Enterprise this weekend.

Anyone know who they are testing for?

I found thisCherry Tree Township meeting mintues.  Gives a path of some testing that the gave approval for in December

Tim,

It seems like you can't go anywhere in PA right now without either running into a seismic crew or seeing their trucks parked at one of the local hotels.  Sure seems like companies are shifting into development mode.

Hopefully, there will be some interest in President Township soon. I have 75 acres that is used only for hunting and would be perfect for a well. Nothing around us really on McCalmont Road.
Today I saw a Geokinetics truck putting stakes and flags every couple miles on 322 between Franklin and Cochranton.

Does anyone know about seismic trucks that were on Hill City Road in Cranberry Township on Tuesday July 5th?  If anyone has any information pertaining to this please post. Thanks!!!!!

They have been setting up their control network for the seismic testing to follow.  That will probably be trucks with ground shaking equipment.  They have quite a few locations established around Venango Co., also in Crawford and Mercer Counties.
Flags run on Hill City rd from 322 to East State, along East State to 257 in Seneca, up 257 to 322 at sheetz. Then they turn to Franklin on 322. Penn Dot said they are Marcellus seismic testing flags and that they would be up for the next few weeks.
