Anyone hearing anything about Fallowfield Twp or carrol Twp in Washington Co.? Any  info on  active companies, drilling activity, signing bonus and royalties would be greatly appreciated.I was talking to Chesapeake back in the summer months, and  they were hellbent on getting a lease signed NOW ,but the hair on the back of my neck started standing up everytime I tried to talk to the landman, because he kept doing the "my way or the hiway" act and talking to me like I was a country bumkin who would sell my first born for a few grand.Well,I dont take kindly to either of those behaviors nor do I appreciate people showing up at my door after I tell them I'll call them back ,so I finally got a sample lease and told him "dont call me ,I'll call you".So I'm just wondering what news any of you fine folks have on my area. Thanks for your time.I think this group is great and everyone should be aware of its existance, maybe then we could get a sizable group of people together and go to an interested party with "an offer they cant refuse", and the landowner might enjoy the spoils that I see these various landmen/land brokers do just for getting us to bow to thier BS. Thanks again-Geo

Hi George,

Range,CNX and Atlas were active in the area. It seems like the companies came to some kind of agreement not to lease in areas that the other controls. They are also talking with each other for buying leases off of each other.
