Shale man,

I have spoken with a few landmen up the area in the past few months regarding Monogalia County leasing. From what I gather most leases are going in the $300-$1500 an acre range. Royalties range between 1/8 (12.5%) and 3/16 (18.75%). Most leases are being taken for 3 years with a 2 year option to extend.
