So is drilling actually ever going to happen in Geauga County? The company NELA has totally left and is nowhere to be seen. They left because they couldn't get any oil companies to sign any leases. It's funny how one moment their are a ton of companies trying to get everyone to sign leases and then the next minute they have completely vanished.... If anyone has any info they can share please share.

Parkman Twp has been referred to as a "good oil area" by many shallow drillers over the past 40 years. It will be very interesting to see what horizontal drilling will reveal when in comes.

CHK drilled the vertical bore, horizontal permitted but not drilled yet. Full pad with possibility of 6 laterals. No production at this time.

It is listed on ODNR as a temporary inactive well David.

Anybody know what happened to Chesapeake's Mast Gea well? (think that's what it is called)

It did not show up in the ODNR production report. Was this a test well only?

Great attendance at the OOGA Oil and Gas Expo yesterday. Midstream vendors from around the US. Latest drilling technology. Seminars by Halliburton engineers explaining the latest drilling and fracing techniques in Ohios Utica.

Buckeye Mineral Development(Bob Rea) will be having a meeting Thursday Nov. 15th at 7PM at the Middlefield Sale Barn located at 15848 Nauvoo Rd.  This will be a sign-up meeting if you are interested in working with Buckeye.  Bob will also be bringing us up to date on recent developments in Ohio.
