Donald I tried to contact the site publisher about getting it added to the list of counties but no response , I think it may take more members to join or things need too start happening in meigs county first. Right now things are hot in Washington county and warm in northeast Athens county and stops their so far I expect Athens to become hot towards spring followed by meigs towards next winter at the rate things are moving, but I am confident it will reach here, as far as Cunningham I have not heard of anything for awhile , but I do know the well they drilled in Athens vertical to the Utica showed real good results near guysville. ANYTHING GOING ON IN MEIGS CO? OR ATHENS CO. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE INVESTMENT GROUP THAT WAS PUTTING A DEAL TOGETHER WITH CUNNINGHAM ENERGY? THINGS ARE PRETTY HOT IN THE NORTHERN CO'S. ANY LANDOWNERS SIGNED UP IN MEIGS? LEASE PRICES ARE MOVEING UP, AT LEAST THATS WHAT I READ. WHY CAN'T YOU GET MEIGS CO. ON THE COUNTY LIST ON THIS WEB SITE?

They are moving very slow towards here right now the Hayes well is app 15 miles north east the way the crow flys from my house in meigs . They are basically drilling a well for a data point and then moving a couple of miles southwest one at a time because the shell gets thinner and know one knows the organic content unless they get a horizontal core sample from s well , so they seem to be moving slow do to the lack of data points, but the Hayes well has about 60 feet of point pleasant at the bottom of the Utica which is still real good. Things seem pretty quiet in Meigs co. seience about half of the co. is in  the wet gas aera. I would think some of these larg companys would want in.

Donald i do not know if they joined yet or anything about possible leases with them , they only way to check leases in meigs county is to go to the records office yourself to look up that info, it can not be done online in this county.

DO YOU KNOW IF THE SCIOTO LAND COMPANYS LAND IS LEASED IN MEIGS CO. OLD LEASE, NEW, OR IN A LAND GROUP? I AM NOT ABLE TO CHECK THE RECORDS, AS I AM NOT IN THE AERA.TRIED ON LINE BUT COULD NOT COME UP WITH ANYTHING.

Companies are looking at Athens and meigs county as we speak ,are group has already signed two landowner groups in Washington county. There is a well being drilled right now 15 miles from meigs county in Athens ,alot of people are waiting to see the results of that well. You can read more about it under the Athens county group on this sight , so far we have had three meetings but none since may. Keep checking the soecllc websight for updates
