Is the gas industry anticipating & preparing for the next surge in natural gas demand?  LNG, Artificial Intelligence, increasing electricity demand, closing of coal powered electrical generation plants plus other signs affecting natural gas demand are being reported.  Has it started yet and how will we see it impacting drilling in the Appalachian Basin including Pennsylvania? Which gas companies in Appalachia are best prepared for this new natural gas surge?See More

Where do we go from here??

Posted on September 25, 2018 at 10:06am 1 Comment

Has the natural gas industry peaked or is it just holding until conditions change?  What are those conditions that can surge the industry again?  Are we just at a point where the initial positioning for market share, core area location and infrastructure availability has stabilized the industry for a slow but steady future approach for development?  There just doesn`t seem to be big news anymore!  When might we see another surge or maybe not?

farmgas,

I'm still in negotiations mode so i try to say the minimum on the open discussion pages incase any consol Landmen are active on GMS.

I did see they permitted some wells in Indiana county last year and i bet those wells are within a stone's throw of the TL-474 Transmission line.  if you want to keep tabs on the wells around beaver run check out MAWC.com and then click on the marcellus tab.

Do you know the terms of any gas leases they have signed around you?
