millions of gallons of fresh water are used for each time a well is hydro-fracked for the Marcellus shale. In a few days time, this pond will be injected with some of the most toxic chemicals, injected under ground to be mixed with Radon (radioactive), mercury, arsenic, and heavey salts. In a technological move of pure genius, a pond of pure fresh water can be converted to millions of gallons of toxic waste. Is that progress?
