AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |

Aaron what I been seeing is that Greene Co. is a hot area. Some think its the core if the utica. We were under a lease with Chesp. and they sold it to Rice. Not real happy with Rice so far. Chesp. paid better and payed for oil and LGN, Rice say's its all dry but Chesp. was getting some. I sent some pay stubs of Chesp. to Rice to prove that our unit was getting some other products from the bore. Rice is only paying us 1.65 per MCF that is way lower than Chesp. was paying us. Bet you never thought you would hear any one wanting Chesp. back lol. We are in Springhill TWP. very close to wetizel Co. WVA. I hear Chesp. had a lot of money not accounted for I did not read the it some one told me. Also Rice deduction are higher than Chesp. its a shame we the land owners have to police the O &G Co. to make sure we get our fair share. the states must remember if they short change us its less taxes we owe. I will pay my shareof taxes on the money I make but first we must get our fair share from the O &G Co.. keep me posted I live in Ohio. my e-mail jeffkerr55@yahoo.com
Aaron what Texas Company are you working with ? That claims to be working with Rice energy.
If I where you I would not lease the Utica and Marcellus shale together unless the company was willing to sign a drilling schedule for both.
Fossil Creek Llc has recently been leasing in our area for the Utica shale supposedly for Gulfport Energy.
Offers aren't very good 500 hundred to 1 thousand dollars an acre 15 percent royalty over in Marshall county they where signing for 2500 hundred an acre with 18 percent royalty.
sure thanks
