- My name is Daniel Denbow, I currently reside in Woodsfield, Ohio. My wife and I recently paid off our land contract house not knowing anything about the oil rights that we never knew anything about until the day we told the owner, who signed us up with the land contract in 2011, we quickly learned that there were rights on the .25 of and acre in town and that the current owner signed two lease deals since 2012, one year after we already signed our land contract deal at the court house. Well after speaking to our attorney, we found out that the rights were legally ours because he never mentioned them in the land contract at all. So now its been 2 months after we paid the house off and called the owner and explained this to him and he just hung up on us, so now still no title, so we have now hired that attorney to get our title and our rights signed over to us, legally.
