- I am excited about all of the recent oil and gas action that is coming to Carroll and Harrison Counties. We have seen some business come back to the area after being closed. One being Atwood Lake Resort (Hotel) and I am proud to say they are opening their doors to several non profits to help out. Even though there is a rise in jobs and businesses it is still a deprived area and need much help specially during the holidays. They are doing the Toys For Tots distribution at the Resort and there are several Oil companies / vendors that are volunteering and will be on hand to help on December 19th. I thought that was very nice of them to offer to help our community.
