- Just stumbled across your site while looking for updates on the Rogersville shale and it's drilling. I own land in eastern Ky that is part of that shale. I liked your statement about how your family land is still important to your family even though many have moved elsewhere. I am in the same boat. I consider myself a custodian of the land for future generations to learn about their history and enjoy where their ancestors once walked and lived. That means I want to take care of the land and in turn have the land be a blessing to the family. Money doesn't grow on trees. I agree with you, our great grand parents would be thrilled for us to benefit from products just lying beneath the ground! I look forward to your updates. Thanks.
