- I am a geologist, originally from Pennsylvania, who is now working in the oil & gas industry on the Marcellus Shale. I have a master's degree related to shale geology and 5 years industry experience. I see a lot of discussion on here that I am well qualified to join, and would like to be able to weigh in and provide some insight from the perspective of a petroleum geologist. My goal at GMS is not to spout industry talking points, but to provide the other side of the story to the many landowners who come here for information.
