Dear Fellow Property Owners: My specific interest is oil and gas drilling waste surface containment. I am acutely aware of the ever expanding oil and gas drilling going on in North America and the unpredictable nature of natural birms as a stop-gap should a rupture and/or spill occur.

Your answers to the following questions would be very helpful.

a. What discussions and/or papers are available addressing specifically drilling waste surface containment?

b. What vendors / suppliers do you know of who offer a more comprehensive solution to surface spills compared to natural birms at drill sites?

See my comment on Max's blog! Also as another thought find out which schools offer curriculum in the O&G industry, Engineering schools/programs, and try to engage the profs. with your questions, they may be very willing to help you with the info you seek.

I know of a company that is interested in building in western PA, they are looking to have frack water and polluted water trucked to their proposed facility for treatment and disposal.
