"No that is for real. Back then they didnt have a way to control pressure and blew down the reservoirs rapidly and drilled too many wells too close together. Think of a can of pop going flat (in the case of oil wells). "

"Call around. other companies are leasing in Guernsey. I posted this to someone else in another forum for Guernsey but DO NOT, in my humble opinion, accept a delay rental. That is they offer you some $/acre and then pay you 1/5th of that price each…"

Rumor: Dominion to do away with gateway and offer shallow well producers $2/Mcf for life of their wells...

Anyone else hearing this in WV? Would be saving grace for many shallow well operators, difference between bankruptcy and solvency. Dominion wouldn't have to remove legacy gathering lines ($) and have a fixed source of gas for local distribution (that they turn around and sell to residential customers for ($13 Mcf) for nearly eternity. Small guys choking on gateway fees. Just a rumor but hopefully some kernel of truth....See More
