- Texla Energy Management is a producer services organization and with a significant trading desk. Texla was started by Lacy Williams in 1993 and has grown to where we currently represent approx. 250 producers primarily in Texas, Louisiana (thus the name.) We are reaching out to the Marcellus/Utica area with the goal of helping small to midsize producers and to extend our reach. Texla currently trades 1.2 to 1.5 BCFD across the gulf coast, SE and NE U.S. and are growing. Our founder's family is an independent producer in Shreveport, LA. so we are conscience of the needs of the small to midsize independent.
