- I am Susan Betts and I own land in Eastern KY, Blaine, KY. I was approached by Gulfland Oil and Gas wanting to lease at 100 per acre for 5 years. I am concerned about the fracking issue as it would not be worth the money to drill if it turns hundreds of acres into a wasteland. We have owned this since before the civil war. I have seen them come and go without any real action. I just want to make sure that I am not going to allow a company to do destroy the land or get ripped off.
