- I want info from the locals. My Grandma signed a gas lease in the 70's. We have 3 shallow (not Marcellus) wells on the property in Brady Township, Clearfield County. Dannic now holds the lease. They have applied for a permit to drill a 8500 ft well on the joining property. That landowner also signed in the 70's with Consolidaed. Do we have any rights, say so, anything or can they do whatever they want? My generation does not want a deep well. We think the whole thing is a rip-off.
