Northern Butler County by Shell

$3,000 @ 15% without deductions 5 years

Nobody else in the play yet.

Not good for the landowner groups.

Thanks Terry!   This is very new to us.  The Range landman offered 5oo/acre @12.5%   They want to go after the Utica shale.   Im not sure if we should wait. dont want them to  pass by??  You hate to to kick the GIFT COW in the face.  Maybe if Shell comes a little north things will change.

If that is all that was offered I would wait. The Utica is becoming a big draw and offers will get better.

Shell's office number is 724-256-9259 I am sure someone there can help you.

For what its worth when I was talking with Shell they said their plan was to start on the perimeter of their target (Lawrence and northern Butler co.)area then move towards the center which I understand to mean north. Our offer was for 3000/per acre 15% without deductions 5+5 years in norther Butler.

    Eric, yes...R Wright (601 310 0868) is a landman for Shell. He will be able to answer any questions you have. Alot of the landowners that I have spoken with really liked working with him. He will not pressure you, and will work with you and your attorney.
