Water Lines

I have a representative from REX Energy contacting me requesting to run an above ground water line across a section of property I own. He is offing to pay $500 to be able to do this. Is that a reasonable price or not? And if not, what would be good? Is there anything else I should look out for? My property is currently not under a lease for gas. It is only two acres of land. Sorry but I have no experience when it comes to this kind of matter and was referred to this site by a friend. Any help would be great. Thanks
