has belmont county leasing stopped?

we have not been contacted by any company and all contacts that I've come across have not contacted us back. We are landowners around jacobsburg with a little over 50 acres. To our understanding most of our neighbors have been contacted and are in the process, if they already haven't, of leasing. We have not seen or heard from anyone and was wondering if we were passed up. Thanks for any info

How did the meeting at UL Middle go? My sister went but I haven't been able to talk to her until after work today. I live in Virginia so this blog is how I keep up to speed. Any info would be appreciated.

suzanne I'm sorry I can't give you many details of the meeting last night..my husband was able to go but I could not. I know there were speakers educating on ways to invest leasing money.....also for tax preparation. Finnbear, I agree 100%...it is nice to know that this group is helping plan for ways to prepare and wisely use the riches for the future, or advising on doing so.

Yes. I believe this will be an opportunity to permanently change many of our lives for the better - IF we know how to handle it.
