Hello ,the latest rumor I heard about CHK was that they had offered someone 5000. dollars an acre and I think 18 or 20 percent royality but this offer was after several months of offers that kept increaseing with each offer.

I also believe CHK was trying to form a unit with this offer so talk with youre neighbors and see who they are leased with and when there lease's expire etc, and above all else hire a good attorney and dont sign anything you dont understand period. Good luck  PS this offer was in Richhill Township close to the state line

Hi Steve, where in Richhill are you?  Close to Aleppo twp?  We leased to Chk in 2008, we are in Aleppo twn. and they are about to start our access road and pad.  The laterals could possibly reach out to Richhill and I beleive they are still trying to get some leases to finish the unit. IF that is the case, I beleive what rmc says is very possible.  Perhaps we are close to you.  Good luck, but make sure you have the correct addendums to protect you, and have an attorney check the lease before you sign anything.

I am an heir that owns mineral rights and not from the area so I am not sure exactly where the property is. I believe it is near Wind Ridge where my grandmother was from, but need to verify.

Hello Vicki. I just found a copy of a deed that says the land is on Long Run in Richhil Township which is about 2 miles south of Bristoria. This does appear to be near Allepo Township so please let me know if this is near you. Thanks!

I just realized that the property is not necessarily 2 miles south of Bristoria. It is just somewhere on Long Run.

Hello sorry I have not replyed for awhile I dont get on here as much as I use to. I dont know the exact acreage somewhere around 100 acres also I dont know if they signed or not hope this helps you

We used Bassi, McCune, Vreeland. Worked with Brad Bassi. Have a contract with Chief completed in Oct 2010, near Jollytown. They have offices in Charliroi and Washington PA. Do a search on Google or Bing.

I have signed a lease with Dale Properties and Chesapeake ......been 2 yrs has anyone heard anything about the area on Fairview Rd ? The old "Nelson/Staggers farm" We have been back there several times but our recent trip saw no signs of drilling?  We know they have the pipeline in place we saw that on the Hughes Farm all the way up Long Run to the Jones Family farm.....any info?

I am not from the area so I don't know what is going on there. Our property is on Long Run near Bristoria so I guess we are close to the pipeline you mention? Did you have an attorney review your lease and, if so, what type of revisions did they propose and Dale/Chesapeake accept?
