Today I was reading the Daily Review out of Towanda. It included an insert called Northeast Driller. There was an overview of the local gas companies and their future plans.
Under East Resources Inc. it said
-1.4 Million acres of oil and gas rights owned or leased
-900,000 gross acres of Marcellus rights held, with 730,000 acres in Pa.
-42 wells drilled in Tioga County, Pa. in 2009.
-200 wells planned to be drilled in Tioga County in 2010
I don't have any land in Tioga County but I thought your landowners would like the information.
