I've heard from multiple people that there are problems at the Milton site? Anyone hear anything?

Yes, that makes sense of the "conversation' I overheard (yes, ok, I was definitely rudely/overtly listening in, it took me nearly ten minutes to buy a roll of paper towels). That conversation was that a plug was being drilled out and then they would flare the well.
Brett ,
can you post pictures of the texas size pump jack?
Thanks Robert, I'll take a trip when I can.
Ron,
It is as at least twice the size I am used to seeing around here. the tanks are bigger as well.
According a recent map, the Geatches Well is on the western edge of the Wet-Gas play and is possibly in the OIl play. The north-west corner of Mahoning County transitions from mostly Wet-Gas to mostly Oil.
Haven't been over near this well for a while. What appears to be going on there now?
The jack pump is running around the clock, and they were flaring it again on Saturday.
Brett, Thanks for the update. Must be a lot of oil and other liquids coming up. Sound like a positive development.
Brett,
Can you determine if the truck activity is to transport oil ?
It is my understanding from what I can glean from all of the conjecture and physical clues, is that they are trucking out oil in tankers regularly. I was told that the oil is thick and a light green in color, allegedly "sweet crude" of a type that is ideal for the plastics industries.
Having said that, I have not personally observed the oil myself, but I have heard about its type and alleged high quality from multiple sources that I trust.
That is great news and I hope it is correct. Thanks Brett
I guess it is more oil and wet gas here in Mahoning county!
this site is not up to date on the news...so whats up in mahoning co....what about the site on w.middletown...any action as yet..?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
