Not leased I already answered this on anoter discussion this is what I heard maybe others can correct me if I wrong but this is what I understood
Unleased what I heard from Des was that Antero made asses of them selves coming down here giveing gary Ruble a million dollar seed money for his shallow leases & he sold them to anoter Co. at the same time I assume he meant antero & xto bought the same acreage on a lot of worthless leases? he said both them already suing Gary Ruble.
He also said that once he closes his deal XTO will be siiting with little bits of acreage surrounded by his co. that they will never be able do anything with them, thats what I heard,
OK here we go again. Just how much is our mineral rights worth. There has been alot of discussion over the recent lease worked out by the Northwest Monroe group with Antero for $5900 and 21%. One landsman said that Monroe isnt worth that much. But that same man started out telling people to hold out for 10-15000 per acre because of what they were getting in Texas. Then in todays Intelligencer theres an article about Bayer signing a lease with Gastar for 30 million for 1400 acres. Unless Im missing something, that comes out to over $21,000 per acre. So are we being misled by the O/Gs companies or the landsmen. Any thoughts???
Gale, is there any way to find out what the price per acre was??
HURAAAH
cobra are you back in Go Marcellus town for a while .

Oh no Des.......I think you just lost a few more thousand acres in Monroe County but you just dont know it yet....NOW WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY..........

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
