Hello folks,
I just got a letter from Caffey Group in Ft. Worth, TX, asking if we are interested in leasing our land in Sandycreek Township. A quick Google search shows news of a lawsuit against them in TX. Anyone know anything about them or anyone else been contacted by them? The letter references the Utica.
Thanks

Anyone else think this is kinda getting silly?
The only thing I really care about is lease numbers, addendums and drilling activity in my area. Everything else here is pretty much fluff.
Pumpjack: I'm retired 36 years in gas industry. landowner in Venango county. yes I have a lease, and put my info on line. not looking to pick a fight , but you get landowners hopes up then do not give your info. Having dealt with production co. the last 20 years, A red flag goes up when one does not use there real name, or the co. the represent.
The law offices of Greco & Lander (814 226 6853) is accumulating property in Venango County to lease to halcon. They are offering $2750 per acre and 18% no deductions.
They also want you to lease everything which you have another oil formation called the Rhinestreet with a limestone called the tully just below the Formation good for fracking. Its just above the medina that four oil companies are after in the area so give it away if you want. there fighting over property in the warren area and gave 20 percent royalties. Just two months ago they where offering hundred a acre now its onethousand and when cheveron drill a well in crawford county you will have compition to drive up the price even more. Where just getting started in the area. The people going to give .85 to moniture my well. Its a lot of mon if you talking 600,000 in royaties a year and 33 % federal and state tax.
Why would I lease to them if a dairy farmer by cranberry got 3250 and 18% on there own. They want you to lease everything all the way down. I hear its up to 3500.00 in mercer now.
The only thing that's true they could want alot of money from you or someone you know!
Halcon seems to be the main buyer in Vanango county. However there seems to be a wide variety of lease terms. anywere from $1500.00/a /15% to $3300.00/a /18% Does depend on contract language. Some have more protuction for landowners than others.

No, We did sign, but not with Caffery. Think our contract was more landowner freindly then Cafferys
MATTHEW????
you busted my stones when I stated the 2750 per acre and 16% with shallow reserved but you defer who and what you signed for
for a retired guy you spend alot of time snooping other threads sellers remorse or dimond jim's lifepartner?
Diamond Jim you never responded to the drilling IN MERCER CO? I will take that bet in mercer and you know why.......your buds got short sheeted thats why they pulled out of mercer guess the shallow driller did not come through
I think the whine comment will come from your lambs in Venango County no comment on your vested interest there????????
there already a company press release the 16 march putting a well in mercer and trumball county this summer
Wassa matter there p umpjack....moving the goal posts a bit there aren't ya?? Too chicken to take the original offer after you said Hilcorp was pulling out? lololol I knew it.
Pumpjack: Not busting anyones stones, just asking why you do not reveal your contract info? I do not work with Jim and as far as I know we never have meet or even talked . What I said was he will put Info. on line and let the landowner make there choice. No remorse we have a very good contract, better than most I have seen, and we did get a check not a draft.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
