Has anyone else had this happen? The title to my property had no deficits (according to the Cambridge Office). I called Amegy bank today to see when the check would be sent and I was told that it was “cancelled per land department directive”.
I called Shell in Cambridge and they have no idea what is going on. Any thoughts?

Never heard this. Was you in the landowner group or a walk-in? What number for the AMEGY Bank did you call?
I was a walk-in, the number was 800-979-3161
I have no idea what this means. If I find out, I will post here. County, Twp you are located?
Thanks. I'm in Guernsey County, Center Township.
I am sorry to hear that. There is a meeting tonight with Gulfport at Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge. I signed with them and have received prompt payment.
Do you have any ideas why this would happen? Seems like no one has heard of this.
Sorry but I don't know. CHK has been known to do this.

Jeanettte weren't you involved in that deal ?
I have friends who have not been paid from Shell and I think their time is expired, Gulfport paid me on time.
I typed up data for the landowner group. I only know you can call Holland in Cambridge if you want to know the status of your lease. Bruce Dondzila is project director. 740-439-2518. I have spoke with him several times. My bank draft is not due yet. Was reissued in March for an error on my title check. I have talked to people who have been paid, but I do not have contact with everyone. Sounds like it might be a good idea to call the AMEGY bank number also. I wish I had more information, but I do not.
By regular mail you have got to be kidding me.
Imelda, were those folks that got paid in Jeanette's group or did they walk in ?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
