Cougar Land Services

Just received a call from Cougar that they will being doing siesmic testing on my land Sunday afternoon.  He said that it is the 3D testing and they will be drilling holes and dropping explosives.

 

Has anyone else had this done on their place?  And if so, what follows next?

How did the testing go Sunday Chip??? Pretty loud and shaky?  I woke up this morning to Cougar going through the yard and fields laying their metal sensor boxes  (-:  The dog decided to drag one of them up to the step, she must have thought that was a better spot to find the oil!!!  DAWGS - Gotta Luv Em

Has anyone heard of losing their water well after the seismic testing? Two of our wells plus a neighbor down the road. have lost all or most of the water they used to supply. Will the oil companies take care of the problem?

I don't see how the siesmic testing would affect a water well.  even the 3D testing that utilizes explosives are only buried 30 feet deep and have the equivalent charge of an M-80.
