New Utica Wells in Mahoning County ?

I live in Berlin Township, There is a new Utica well going up in Goshen township on Calla Road just off Route 534 and another in Butler Township near North Georgetown. They are getting very close. Does anyone know of others?

Ron, your permits were issued 7-31-12.  I saw it on the ODNR County search.

finally saw the permit posted on the odnr site. they have been working on sitting the conductor casing and cementing in preperation on sitting the rig. i noticed they now have security . was told there has been a few dunder head protesters,probably the youngstown protest wall street creeps. if i find one protester on my property , rest assured i will not hesitate to press charges and press forward with filing charges. the few shall not infringe upon the rights of the many.

Yeah, these protesters want to "protect our lands" while simultaneously not respecting the private property rights of their neighbors. Forget pressing charges, just break out the hose and spray em down. They could use a shower anyway.

Good for you.  Noticed the pic's of the local protests seem to be the same people who were in the pics from PA.  Makes me wonder who is paying them.

  cnx sure works fast ,rig ang equiptment started to arive over the week end. should be an interesting week as they assemble the rig. i presume they will start to drill this month, right on scedual.

Glad to hear they were good to work with.  Went by Tues-they sure have moved a lot of dirt in a hurry.  This will be a great well to get a good look at the action-most are too far off the road to get the whole picture.  Hope this works out for you and yours-and your neighbors.

Mahn7 sign up, well pad covered in stone, drives done.  Blott Rd Mah county.  Progress in Mahoning co!!

Paul Hendricks told me that they are done drilling on his property, and the rig is scheduled for Blott Rd. next.  Another crew will come in to frac his well sometime next month.

That's quick!  As of friday they don't even have fence up.  Would have thought that they would go to mahar first.  Sorry-know you were hoping they would drill your unit first.  Still good to see activity in mahoning co.

Mahar is being drilled by Chesapeake. Hendricks was CNX, so we are still hoping for September.

 

Every week they notify the Sheriff's Department of any activity they plan in the County. That will give us a week's notice of when they are coming.
