Payment cancelled by Shell

Has anyone else had this happen? The title to my property had no deficits (according to the Cambridge Office). I called Amegy bank today to see when the check would be sent and I was told that it was “cancelled per land department directive”.

I called Shell in Cambridge and they have no idea what is going on. Any thoughts?

If you have not been paid for your leases and the time has expired Please contact me.

We have a operator that wants to lease you and will drill them , This is not a flipper.

Townships we are needing is, Washington,Madison,Wills,Richland,Quaker City,Fairview,Londonberry.

We resigned the new 45 day draft in June and it was due to be paid on August 17 when I called Amegy they told me the check was mailed to my bank on the 17th. Our check did get sent to the wrong part of the bank so we did not receive it until this week which was over 3 weeks from the time they mailed it but we did get our money. I know how I felt playing the waiting game after all this time but hopefully the rest of you will get your money also.

I taked to Holland yesterday, got some good news. I was told that my check will be mailed on Oct 2. This is the first time that I have been given a solid date. Also one of my nighbors who signed just before I did got his money last week so I can only hope.

We were just about to be paid but when I contacted Shell we were advised a company called Mid-ohio Coql filed an affidavit of preservation against our mineral rights to 25 of our 40 acres In May 2012. The Corp bought the rights via foreclosure in 1940 from Camnbridge Colleries (Akron coal our and several other Coal Companies) dad bought the property in 1946 had no clue. Long story short it is off to the courts we go.

Shell provided me with a copy it covers land in several townships 215 parcels and over 2000 acres.

Townships are Jackson, Richland, Spencer, Valley, subdivisions Northside, John Secrest, David Secrest, Moss, Hartford, om-spake, McDonald (have no idea where they are). Looks like Jackson has the most (971 acres).
