Is there anyone out there who has a Friendsville lease taken over by CHK receiving royalty payments as yet? I am specifically interested in how CHK's "deduct everything possible" philosophy of royalty payment may be butting up against the F'ville lease's royalty wording and prohibition of deductions of any kind. (Although there is also the 'price at the well head' issue which might create some murky waters...) Anyone?

BUT MY LEASE IS DIVIDED BETWEEN - CHESAPEAKE, ANADARKO, MITSUI, AND STATOIL .... THE ONLY ONE TAKING DEDUCTIONS IS ANADARKO - I HAVE RECEIVED MY FIRST ROYALTY CHECK FROM THEM - SO I HAVE CALLED THEIR HOTLINE AND AM WAITING FOR A RETURN CALL.
Permalink Reply by Moldyoak on September 7, 2012 at 11:39am I got a check from Stat, no deductions. Mitsui and CHK are late, although I did send back div orders, and CHK is cutting me a manual check after I called and let them know in very aggravated terms that they were not meeting the time period specified in the lease. Nothing from Anadarko yet - do you have a roylaty owner or division order hotline number? Phone calls can actually accomplish a great deal if you let them know you're upset and they are not meeting the terms of the lease.

Permalink Reply by PLOVER on September 8, 2012 at 1:45am since i have four different companies - the price the gas is sold at every month is different for every company - but in the friendsville lease it states - TGP - ZONE 4 as royalties are to be based upon the published index price of that zone - which Chesapeake said they are doing.
