HALCON in Venango

Halcon must like what they see in Venango County!  They have a well started on the Vally Road in Polk Pa,  And also looks like they may start one near the Rainbow Sportmans Club.  The pad is clear and just about ready for the rig on Vally Road!  Drill Baby Drill!!!!

Would not be so sure. Halcon supposedly just cancelled leases on 29,000 acres in Venango county. See several posts by p_umpjack on Venango County site. I have followed his posts and consider his information to be quite accurate.  If you live up there you might try to talk to the project director on the valley road well. He's probably not supposed to talk, but sometimes they will tell you a little. Because its Halcon, anything you hear may be a lie. Might ask him when the rig is due to arrive. I hope your optimism is justified.

Rumor has it, there is to be a 3rd as well; somewhere just off the Polk cutoff. All three will be connected with a pipeline. I have a vested interest in the project. I will release what information I can when I can. To say much more at the moment would be premature.
