Does anyone have any real idea if SHell will utilize those permits for the wells at the Henry Farm on Center Church rd? they did some road improvements and then nothing. IT would be alot better for everyone with leases if it was Chesapeake instead of SHell , they drill and drill and drill..

I don't know anything about the Henry well site.. I wish they would drill it too because my lease is within one (1) mile of that site, however, I don't think I'd want a lease with Chesapeake..From all the info I've read their opinion of pricing at the wellhead is considerably differently from most other companies so your royalty checks would be considerably larger with Shell..
IMHO

Permalink Reply by Lance Nimmo on February 10, 2013 at 7:23am I wouldn't look for any new pads this year, including Henry's. Shell has even told this to people at a meet and greet in Mercer Co. The are looking for pipeline Row's right now...
Permalink Reply by Deb Reynolds on February 12, 2013 at 4:10am JMHO--Shell is MUCH more concerned with environmental and safety issues. I'd go with Shell every time, because it's not just $ I want.
Permalink Reply by Lauren Hobel on February 21, 2013 at 5:42am We just stopped in the Shell office yesterday and they said that they would be starting work on the Henry site after April 1, 2013. But that still gives a big window. Could be starting April 2 or could be starting a year from then. But it looks like its still on track, somewhere.
Permalink Reply by Lance Nimmo on February 21, 2013 at 6:36am Lol, I wouldn't bet on Shell showing up at the Henry site. And if you stopped across from Giant Eagle, you didn't show up at the Shell office. You showed up at the Long Consulting office. They are the landmen for Shell. Shell gave them two flags to hang on the doors, and that's about it. Trust me, the landmen are the last to know what's going on as far as when units are to be drilled. They are given areas to sign. That is it.

Permalink Reply by Lance Nimmo on February 22, 2013 at 2:04am Lol, do you even have a clue Jeffy? Have a last name? I'll look you up on the county web site and see how green your side is. What part of my post contained anything that was jealous of my neighbors? And how, pray tell, do you know whether or not I am on the outside looking in. Also, tell me how anything I posted in this thread is wrong. Go ahead, I'll wait.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
