This is a very interesting development, thanks for moving it back to the front page. It was posted here yesterday, but got pushed off the front page by all the useless threads posted by Frank Dux!!
Markwest is in the process now of cutting row in Beaver County. You can find it being discussed on the Beaver County site. I believe it's supposed to be a line connecting Vanport to Butler somewhere. I am in south Lawrence County , New Beaver Borough. Late last summer Markwest landmen were cruising my area for row supposedly for a line(s) connecting the proposed Shell Cracker to a destination in Butler somewhere.
This led me to believe Markwest and Shell were working together. Now this Williams deal comes along................? What a convoluted business this must be!
Glad to hear more infrastructure is coming but wouldn't it be grand if Shell would keep their lessors informed and up to date on their plans for us? I have 3-1/2 years left on my lease and they have the option to extend 5 yrs. at the same terms , so I guess they have time to figure this all out and I may have a shot at another big bonus........Anticipation is driving us crazy! LOL
This is a good omen for the cracker plant in Monaca as this would supply the plant with feedstock. Doesn't make it a done deal yet but it helps.
Great News for Northwest Pa. Anyone with thoughts on implications for Shell leases signed and paid in Venango?
