Has anyone received a letter from FLATIRON promising cash for mineral and royalty interests? Sounds like another scam?
Also, anyone else get bought up by CHesapeake at the end of your Ranger Resource Lease? The 6o day window to have a similar lease is unfortunately the same in their eyes!!! Another 5 years unless lawyers can fight this! You would think with Chesapeake having offices here now they would wouldn,t want to look like vultures!!!

Sending the check back doesn't do anything. All they must do is tender payment.
I received letter from flatiron to buy minerals. i called the guy to see what they were offering. He said it would take a couple days to get an offer together so I just asked, " can you pay more than the 10k per acre i'm currently being offered"? His reply was no.

We would pay that price in certain areas. Unfortunately your spot and the royalty percentage on your lease would not allow us to hit that number. We did appreciate the call though. Have a good weekend.
