I'm really new here and have only 36 acres of farm land off of Homeworth Rd. Not sure if BP or anyone out there is still looking for land to lease. I was told by an attorney that our property in located in the, "middle of the play" and therefore a really good location for both types of oil. Whatever that means. lol
Any info greatly appreciated....thanks!

Chesapeake has a lot of leases in that part of the county. You might want to start out by finding out to whom your neighbors are leases and work that angle.

Chesapeake owns most of the leases around us but we were able to get a BP lease with much better terms and protection. Market yourself and protect what is yours!
