Gulfport's first dry gas well in the Utica, the Irons 1-4H well, was recently placed on production in the Utica Shale at an average 24-hour sales rate of 30.3 MMCF of natural gas per day.

Now that Rice and Gulfport have partnered on their acreage in Goshen, Smith, Wayne, and Washington townships, those areas should be able to be more fully developed with less undrilled areas left out in the cold.

Have heard that Rice Energy  designed the frack for the Gulfport Irons well.

Do you have a link for where this info came from.

With production like that expect to see more dry gas areas explored.  Even at low prices that sort of production is very profitable.
