Permalink Reply by Joseph-Ohio on November 8, 2013 at 6:32am So, reading that Halcon doesn't like the northern tier (currently).
Maybe they don't have enough contiguous acreage ?
Maybe they're trying to sell what they have ?
Wondering how much they do control ?
EnerVest and Chesapeake are big in the north as we understand things.
Maybe a 'Major' will move in soon ?
Reading rumbles about BP looking north of Trumbull.
What do you folks think ?

Permalink Reply by Jim Dobson on November 11, 2013 at 1:19am Halcon has drilled one well in northern Trumbull County. BP many more. A lot of infrastructure being installed all over the north. That tells me something.

As Jim points out; there is a lot of infrastructure being installed in the northern part of the county. BP must have found something. Again, I believe BP is the company to watch in northern Trumbull County.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
