See the last 2 pages in particular to see the best reservoir fairway for the Upper Devonian Shale.

Rex Energy is finding better results in the super rich Upper Devonian than the Marcellus in their Butler operated area.  See page 16 and 28 of the above presentation.

Thanks for your input..i live out of State..but my family is in one of those 8 listed..and i am just trying to decipher what they have going on that's different than the others..i've done some research and it seems to be very interesting and exciting prognosis for whats to come..i appreciate any news you might get in the future and that you can share with me..thanks again

FYI: PADEP finally has a well map website similar to WV and Ohio.

Todd, I see that you obviously know quite a bit more than i can ever begin to imagine in regards to all of this..My parents are just concerned over the fact that they have yet to be told anything in regards to the DU Rhinestreet and yet their properties one of the 8 that's being discussed as to having this..that's why I am trying to see if there's more to it that I can pass on to them so they have a clearer overall picture of whats happening..Have you heard when they plan to start drilling in this area yet? They last they heard its looking like March, although they have now been told this past April or May, then by October, and now the March date. Any input would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Dottie,
Please accept my friend request and I'll be glad to try to help you but I am not privy to drilling schedules but it will be sooner than later!
What unit are they part of?

That's good news - something to hang onto - how about Center Township - anything headed that way - it looks like nothing so far?

Hi Cynthia.  I haven't seen anything for Center TWP but I'm not sure why... Center TWP is in a good location on paper.  Most likely, due to infrastructure (lack of?).

Who are you leased with?

Not leased at present - your right - it looks like they will be putting that infrastructure together - so it may take awhile.  Just trying to get a birds eye view of what's happening in the area.

This place is great for news - awesome job - most appreciated!

Great news regarding the prospectivity of the Burket Shale in Beaver County:

http://nebula.wsimg.com/fd285a2ef6c0ed8ad1c6deeb1858848d?AccessKeyI...

FYI, they missed the Burket well drilled by Range at Noss in eastern Hanover TWP but I informed them.

Hence, Shell is pending their final investment decision to crack all of the ethane located with the wet Marcellus and Burket shales lying below Beaver County.
Our Marcellus organic thickness interval is thicker than just our Marcellus. The organic interval includes both the Marcellus + the Hamilton Group according to WVGES mapping and their collaboration with the EIA:
