Aubrey acquired a lot of leases there from Swepi & enervest, also got partnered up with Kimbles thousands of acres. He is rounding up rigs . don't look for those to set idle!
I checked USLAND RECORDS, not sure if I am reading it right, but it appears Cheaspeake has purchased the Brill well (Devon) in Knox township Guernsey county.
I'm located at Burson & Wintergreen Rds , seems like some pipe may be installed on Rt 22 heading West. I've tried to make sense of the maps and well locations but have proven myself lacking . Signed with Gulfport and looking forward to seeing the locations of these wells. Sad to see the farms going away though.. Happy for the farmers that will prosper as well.
Any idea of how close the wells will get to my area and when ??
MarkWest gathering line, Rockies Express
Here is a Google Earth map of the MarkWest gathering line and the Rockies Express pipeline. You will need Google Earth installed on your computer to view this map. You can download Google Earth here:
Is there any information regarding Anadarko's drilling plans in Knox Township, Guernsey County?
Philip,
That is a very informative map. Do you have access to any other maps of the pipelines in the area? I know that they are doing one just south of 77 at 513, and are piping from the Chesapeake wells along Oxford Road and crossed 513 about 4 miles south of 77. I would love to see more maps of the smaller branch lines and the activity going on around me.
The one going just North of Quaker is only about 2 miles from my place. I think the Rex J. Anderson wells are feeding into that line as well.
Tom, I don't have any other pipeline maps. If anyone finds another map I would be happy add it to this map. The MarkWest pipeline crosses my property just south of the J.Anderson well. It connects to on my neighbors land.
Lance here is the MarkWest pipeline map:

Hi Phillip, thanks but I can't seem to get the map to come up. I have Google Earth installed.. When I click that link it takes me to some other site, correlate? Or something like that, so I downloaded that too... Still don't see the map...
Yeah, I keep getting Windows can't open this file.... Oh well
Lance, try right clicking the link for the map and select Save
As. Then save it to your desktop. Then right click on the Pipelines.kmz file and select Open With... then select Google Earth to always open .kmz files.
Let me know if this fixes the problem.
It's not working for me... Thanks any way.... Maybe you can send a link to my e-mail picyourstar@gmail.com

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
